Lifeline 13 11 14


Lifeline’s 13 11 14 service is staffed by trained volunteer telephone counsellors who are ready to take calls 24-hour a day, any day of the week from anywhere in Australia.


Lifeline also provide information about other support services that are available in communities around Australia. 


Lifeline telephone counsellors are ready to talk and listen no matter how big or how small the problem might seem. They are trained to offer emotional support in times of crisis or when callers may be feeling down.


Kids Help Line — 1800 55 1800


Kids Helpline is a free, 24 hour counselling service for young people aged 5-25 years.    Counselling is offered by phone, email and over the web.


Beyond Blue Info Line — 1300 22 4636

This Australian organisation that provides information about depression and anxiety to consumers, carers and health professionals.


Raising Children Network


This Australian parenting website provides comprehensive, practical, expert child health and

parenting information and activities for children aged 0-8 years.


KidsMatter & Early Childhood Matter


KidsMatter aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children, reduce mental health problems amongst children, and achieve greater support for children experiencing mental health difficulties, and their families.


A range of resources for schools and families have been developed to support the implementation of KidsMatter Primary and Early Childhood Matter in schools, preprimary and day care centres. All schools and centres, as well as the general public, are able to access the KidsMatter Primary range of resources via this website.
